During health week the primary 4s did yoga. I thought it was really fun and relaxing!
K’Nex Challenge
Today, Wednesday 21st March, all the P4’s took part in the K’nex challenge. They became engineers for the day and were asked to design and build a vehicle, with no more than 4 wheels, that had a purpose. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and a wide range of fabulous vehicles were produced. Pictured below are the top 3 vehicles, chosen by our guest for the afternoon, an engineer from the oil industry. The winners (pictured) will now go on to the Aberdeen final at Pittodrie in May.

p4 trip
Last week we all went on a trip to the east dyke. We had three worksheets and a piece of paper and the bit of paper was for rubbing the dykes with crayon. After that we had a quiz about the east dyke. Last of all we had a walk along the dyke.

Solar system
In P4 our project is the solar system. We have learnt that the earth is the third planet from the sun, that the sun is very hot and that when a star dies the black hole opens up and the star falls in it.
p4’s christmas play
P4 are performing a christmas play called The Scarecrow’s Christmas. It is on the Tuesday 12th and the Wednesday 13th of December.
