Well it is the end of term and very nearly the long summer holidays! The classes have all been to meet their new teachers for next year and have just one day left with their old teachers! I hope you all have a brilliant hoilday. Stay safe and I hope the sun shines for us all!

A few weeks ago Aimee Macdonald p5, Robbie Collinson p7 and Becky Cheyne p5 all took part in the Chris Anderson Stadium Primary Athletics Event to compete against other schools in varied sporting and track events. Aimee came 1st in the girls 100m sprint, Robbie came 2nd in the boys 100m sprint, 3rd in the long jump, and he still had the energy to run in the boys 800m race and came 4th. Becky also ran well in the girls p5 800m and also came 4th. They were a credit to the school and so a big well done goes out to them! Hopefully more pupils will participate in this well attended event next year.
There has been so much going on this week! The p5’s and p7’s both had plays and the p5’s have also got to see our films we made. The p7’s had a talent show and some girls also took part in the jazz club show. The p5’s also had the verse festival to show to all of the parents. Lots of credit to the people who took part in these shows. Well Done!
